About
Prof. (Dr.) Parag H. Rughani is a Professor [Digital Forensics] and Dean of the School of Open Learning. With more than 22 years of experience in academia, Prof. Rughani is also an IEEE senior member. He has published more than 25 articles in international journals and conferences. With 05 patents and 02 copyrights granted under his name, Prof. Rughani has also published a book and 2 book chapters. So far 04 students have completed their Ph. D. under the supervision of Prof. Rughani.
Prof. Rughani is the Chief Investigator for Cyber Forensics thematic area of the Information Security Education and Awareness Project Phase III (ISEA3) of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India and SPARC project of Ministry of Education, Government of India.
He is also a part of many international and national level committees and boards including the organizing committee of Digital Forensic Research Workshop [DFRWS USA and APAC].
As an expert of Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, Prof. Rughani has delivered more than 100 talks and sessions at various events and training sessions.
