About
Dr. Dinesh Singh is a
Geomatics engineer who currently serves as an Assistant professor at the
National Forensic Sciences University Delhi Campus. He has contributed
significantly to the field of civil engineering, especially in the areas of
Geoinfomatics, Geographical Information System, 4D GIS, Global positioning
system, atmospheric modeling, and crustal deformation. His active areas are
also multimedia forensics, data science and AI using python.
Dr. Singh obtained his
Bachelor's degree in Physics (Honuors)from the University of Gauhati. He then
pursued his Master's degree in Electronics from Gauhati University,
specializing in DSP. He completed his Ph.D. in Geomatics Engineering from the
University of Roorkee in 2013.
After completing his
Ph.D., Dr. Singh, he joined the faculty of the Department of Civil Engineering
Geoinfomatics specialization and served at various universities across India.
Dr. Singh's research
interests primarily lie in the field of Geoinfomatics engineering. He has made
significant contributions to the understanding of the behavior of GPS signal
delay in the atmosphere. He has also developed analytical and numerical models to
predict the response of troposphere subjected to L band signal excitation. His
research has been published in several international journals and reviewed
article for many reputed journal such as IEEE Transaction on Geoscience and
Remote Sensing. In addition,
imparted consultancy for state government and leading private company in the
