Dr. Priyanka
Shah (PhD, CSIR Research Associate-Chemical Sciences) is currently working as
an Assistant Professor (Chemistry) in the School of Forensic Science. She did
her Bachelors (2010), Masters (2012), MPhil (2013) and PhD (2017) in Chemistry
from the Department of Chemistry, Gujarat University. She was a Gold medalist
at Masters Level and was awarded Junior & Senior Research Fellowship from
DST INSPIRE, Government of India, New Delhi for her PhD in 2014. She worked as
a CSIR-Research Associate at the Department of Chemistry, Gujarat University
2018-2021.
She has Published more than 80 articles (including research, review, editorial
articles, commentary and book chapters) in various Scopus-indexed international
journals of repute with h-index 20 and total citations of more than
1850. She has three Indian patent to her credit. She has been awarded the 'Best
Paper Presentation' in various national and international conferences. She has
more than 8 years of research and teaching experience. Her primary domains of
expertise are the fields of quantitative bioanalysis, analytical and
bioanalytical method development and validation in pharmaceutical analysis.
She is an active reviewer for over 33 peer-reviewed journals from prestigious
publishers such as Elsevier Science, American Chemical Society, Royal Society
of Chemistry, Wiley, Springer, Oxford University Press, Taylor & Francis
and many others and has reviewed more than 160 research papers. She has
been appointed as a Young Editorial Board Member of the Journal of
Pharmaceutical Analysis (JPA), Elsevier Science (December 2021–present); as
an Academic Editor for Biochemistry Research International, John
Wiley and Sons Ltd.; and as an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of
Chemistry, Environmental Sciences and its Applications, Chitkara University
Publications, Chandigarh, India.
