Dr. Jyoti Roy Choudhuri is currently working as an Assistant Professor at National Forensic Sciences University. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at BMS Institute of Technology, Bangalore. He qualified for the UGC NET JRF (2007) and GATE (2007) in Chemical Sciences.
Dr. Choudhuri did his PhD from IIT Kanpur under Prof. Amalendu Chandra. Afterwards he spent two years in aboard as post doctoral fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University Richmond, USA. In August 2023, he joined as an Assistant Professor, National Forensic Sciences University Tripura Campus. He is a passionate researcher with strong research focus on developing analytical technique with a special focus on identifying chemical substances of forensic importance. Dr. Choudhuri has conducted research projects sponsored by DST (SERB) based on nanotechnology based applications.
