Dr. Jayesh Kumar is working as an Assistant Professor of Criminology at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminology and Police Studies from Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur. He completed his M.Sc. in Criminology and Police Studies from the same university, where he was awarded the prestigious Chancellor’s Gold Medal.
Dr. Kumar was awarded the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Criminology in 2019. He also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) and a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.
He has seven years of teaching and research experience in Criminology and Police Studies. His research interests include Internal Security, Police Administration, Criminal Investigation, Crime Analysis and Mapping, and Correctional Studies.
