Dr. Mausami Vaghela is a Regulatory Affairs professional and academician with over 13 years of combined experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, contributing to teaching, academic coordination, and quality assurance activities including NAAC, NBA, and PCI.
She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy from RK University and an M.Pharm in Regulatory Affairs from Saurashtra University. Her expertise includes CTD/ACTD dossier preparation, post-approval changes, drug master files (DMF), clinical trials, and global regulatory submissions across regions such as ASEAN, CIS, GCC, and Africa.
She has industry experience with Claris Otsuka Pvt. Ltd. and Claps Industries, where she handled regulatory documentation and compliance for international markets, strengthening her application-oriented teaching approach.
Dr. Vaghela has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national and international conferences, and authored a PCI-approved textbook on Quality Control and Quality Assurance. She also serves as a peer reviewer for a Scopus-indexed journal.
She has guided postgraduate and undergraduate research projects and is a lifetime member of ISPRA and APTI. Her interests include drug regulatory affairs, global drug approval systems, and AI in pharmaceutical regulations.
