Dr.
Simranjeet Singh is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at the
School of Pharmacy, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. He
holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Science and a Ph.D. from Guru Jambheshwar
University of Science & Technology, Hisar, where his research focused on
the treatment of simulated agricultural runoff and dumpsite leachate using
constructed wetland technology. He was awarded the Maulana Azad Fellowship
(UGC) during his doctoral studies and has qualified the UGC and ASRB National
Eligibility Test (NET).
His
research interests include constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment and
environmental monitoring of air, water, soil, and noise. His teaching areas
cover water chemistry, atmospheric chemistry and pollution, environmental
impact assessment (EIA), risk analysis, soil chemistry, solid waste management,
research methodology, statistics, and environmental studies. Dr. Singh has
actively participated in national and international academic events and has
published over 15 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
He also holds four patents in his field.
