Dr. Vivek Ayar is an academician, researcher, and engineering professional specializing in advanced manufacturing, metal casting, materials engineering, smart manufacturing technologies, and artificial intelligence applications in engineering. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering and Technology, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, and has previously served at NIAMT, Ranchi, BVM Engineering College, and as a DST-funded research fellow under the SMART Foundry 2020 Project. His work spans teaching, interdisciplinary research, industrial consultancy, funded projects, patents, scholarly publications, and technology development, including contributions in IoT-enabled manufacturing systems, metal matrix composites, and Industry 4.0. He has secured research funding from reputed agencies and industries, delivered invited talks, contributed to curriculum and laboratory development, and serves as reviewer for several international journals.
