About Program

Pharmaceutical Chemistry is the most important branch of Chemistry and Pharmacy. It consists of everything about the processes of drug development and distribution. The pharmaceutical industry is growing day by day with the growth of medical fields globally. The demand for drugs and medicines is increasing with developments in discoveries, treatments, and increasing diseases.This course is designed to cater to the need of the Pharmaceutical Industry and Chemical industry. After completion of the course, students will learn the principles of drug design, drug discovery, and the relationship between the molecular structure of drugs and their biological activity. Topics to be covered include how candidate drug structures are selected for synthesis, structure-activity relationships, Physico-chemical properties of compounds and how these may be employed to assist in the selection of drug candidates, organic synthetic methods that are of relevance to the preparation of drug-like molecules. Also, learn how to apply this knowledge to identify the abusive drug and Narcotic and Psychotropic substances.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Science / Medicine / Engineering / Pharmacy with minimum 55% mark. (For reserved category students minimum of 50% marks)

Rs. 50,000/- tuition fees + Other University Fees

15 Seats



The students after completing the course will get placement in the following fields Drug Discovery & Development (CADD), Organic & Medicinal Chemistry Division, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Division, Pharmaceutical Bulk Drug Division, and Pharmaceutical Analytical R & D.

The school provides 100% placement assistance to students; also, the University has full-fledged Training and Placements Cell.
