12th Forensic Psychology Day was celebrated at NFSU with the Symposium

12th Forensic Psychology Day was celebrated at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar in a virtual mode with the Symposium ‘Expanding Horizons of Forensic Psychology’ on 21st January, 2022. The Symposium was organized by the School of Forensic Psychology, NFSU, Gandhinagar. Dr. J. M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor, NFSU delivered a presidential address in the symposium.

Eminent Speaker, Judge Mel Flanagan, Former Circuit Judge and Adjunct Professor, University of Wisconsin, USA delivered a talk on 'Implicit Bias and Criminal Investigation'; Distinguished Speaker, Dr. Hans Leo Teulings, Ph.D., CEO, NeuroScript LLC, USA shared his knowledge on 'Forensic Psychological Profiling using Handwriting Movement'.

In the beginning, Prof. Purvi Pokhariyal, Dean, School of Forensic Psychology, NFSU welcomed 750 participants, forensic professionals, students and delegates registered for the program and briefed them about the School of Forensic psychology, importance of the day.

During the Symposium, Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU; Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar, NFSU and Deans of different schools remained present.
