A five-day Capacity Building Programme on ‘Forensic Justice’ was inaugurated at NFSU 

A five-day Capacity Building Programme on ‘Forensic Justice’ was inaugurated at the School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 26th July, 2022. The 5 days Capacity Building Programme aimed to understand the nuances of forensic science and to impart this knowledge to the law students on a journey of holistic understanding of forensic science and law together to effectively ensure that forensic justice is delivered.

Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor, NFSU gave the presidential address in the inaugural session. Dr. Shekhar Seshadri, Senior Professor (Retd.), Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry & Advisor-SAMVAD, NIMHANS addressed the gathering. Dr. G.K. Goswami, ADGP, UP Police gave insightful knowledge on DNA Forensics. Dr. Abraham Johnson, Assistant Professor-NFSU delivered the lecture on 'Forensic and Legal Dentistry'.

Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director and Dean of School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, NFSU gave the welcome address. The event is coordinated by Dr. Navtika Singh Nautiyal and Ms. Mradul Singh, Faculty members of School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, NFSU.
