The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed virtually between the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, Gujarat and RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru on 6th April, 2021, with the major objective of setting up “Centre of CCTV Research” at RVCE, Bengaluru.
Besides this, the MoU aim for augmenting our Homeland Security Architecture by infusing and imbibing the advancements in technologies, conducting joint research projects, facilitating student internships, training manpower and skill development.
The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) S. O. Junare, the Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar Campus and Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Subramanya, Principal, RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru.
Dr. J. M. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor, NFSU blessed the occasion with his presence and presided over the event. He emphasized on conducting a joint PG Diploma course in Multimedia Forensics and to take up joint consultancy services for adding some value to our national security and prosperity.
Shri Sanjay Sahay, IPS, Former ADGP, Karnataka state, the brain behind the idea of setting Centre of CCTV Research, Dr. Surbhi Mathur, Senior Assistant Professor and lead faculty in the field of Multimedia Forensics, NFSU, other dignified members of NFSU, RVCE and Centre of CCTV Research were also present at the MoU signing ceremony.
