Shri Amit Shah, Hon. Union Home Minister has inaugurated CoE NDPS and Virtual Training Module

Shri Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and Minister of Co-Operation has inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for Research and Analysis of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on Monday, 12th July, 2021. He also visited the Ballistics Research and Training Centre, Cyber Defence Centre and Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature Profiling (BEOS) Lab at the NFSU.

During his Visit, Shri Amit Shah also inaugurated the Virtual Training Module on Investigation of Crime against Women. Shri Amit Shah expressed his views towards making the nation drug-free and described the safety of women as the top priority of the Central Government.

During this occasion Hon. Chief Minister, Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani, the Minister of State for Home, Mr. Pradeepsinh Jadeja, the Union Home Secretary-Govt. of India, Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau Mr. Rakesh Asthana, the Vice-Chancellor-NFSU Dr. J. M. Vyas, Campus Director Prof. (Dr.) S. O. Junare, Executive Registrar Shri C. D. Jadeja, invited dignitaries, faculties, and foreign as well as Indian students remained present.
