Two day colloquium on “Criminology and Criminal Justice Reforms” at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar concluded on 22nd December, 2021. Chief Guest, Hon’ble Justice Ravi R. Tripathi, Chairperson, State Human Rights Commission, Gandhinagar addressed the audience during the valedictory ceremony.
On second day of the colloquium, Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala and Prof. (Dr.) Poonam Saxena, Vice Chancellor of the National Law University, Jodhpur were present for the signing of the MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) with Dr. J. M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar. Total 5 MoUs were signed during this colloquium. On the first day of colloquium, the three educational Institutions viz. Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar; Symbiosis Law School & the Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune and Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar for Academic and Research Collaboration.
On 22nd December 2021, Dr. G. K. Goswami, Chief of Anti-Terrorist Squad, Uttar Pradesh emphasized the importance of Criminal Justice Reforms. Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala gave observatory remarks. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Dean, School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, NFSU gave the welcome address.
Prof. (Dr.) S. O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU and Shri C. D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar, NFSU, Deans of different Schools of the University, Faculty Members and students were present in the Valedictory Ceremony.
