The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is proud to announce that the Centre of Excellence on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (CoE-NDPS), an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (NABL) accredited and ISO 9001:2015 certified laboratory, has successfully completed the UNODC International Collaborative Exercises (ICE) Programme, Round 2024/2 — marking the fourth consecutive successful participation since 2022. The ICE Programme, conducted by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), rigorously assesses laboratories on their scientific capabilities in forensic drug analysis, ensuring alignment with international standards. This continued participation is a testament to the scientific integrity, institutional readiness, and analytical excellence of CoE-NDPS in supporting national and international drug law enforcement and judicial systems. This achievement further strengthens NFSU’s standing as a globally recognized centre for forensic excellence under the NDPS Act, 1985, and highlights our commitment to validated, quality-assured forensic practices. We extend our sincere appreciation to UNODC for this valuable international platform and reaffirm our commitment to advancing global standards in forensic science.
