Student Induction-Orientation Programme "DEEKSHARAMBH-2025" was held at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 11th August, 2025. Shri Sharad Kelkar, Bollywood Actor, was the Chief Guest of the function. Padma Shri Awardee Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, delivered the presidential address. Shri Sharad Kelkar addressed the gathering regarding his education journey and the importance of teachers and educational institutions. He has informed the students that “you are very lucky to be part of NFSU, where you will get to know the forensics and investigation aspects”. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar, delivered the welcome address and briefed about NFSU. Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar; Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Campus Director, NFSU-Goa; Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director, NFSU-Delhi and Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Campus Director, NFSU-Bhopal also present on the dais and delivered their speech on this occasion. During the function, Deans and Associate Deans of various schools of NFSU, Faculty members, Staff members and students of NFSU were present during the event.
